A longtime Houston-based petroleum engineer, Ivor Ellul currently leads the consulting firm Knowledge Reservoir. A CEO, he provides corporate clients with a wide range of services which includes pipeline design and oil and gas reserve exploration. Originally from Malta, Ivor Ellul completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Malta before gaining industry experience in roles such as serving as technical manager for Petrochem Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. In this capacity, he oversaw all aspects of complex petroleum-pipeline and tank-farm installations.
Dr. Ellul pursued a research fellowship with the mineral resources engineering department of London’s Imperial College, where he also completed his doctoral studies. As division vice president of Intercomp, Inc., he managed the firm’s global facilities and product pipeline activities.
An active member of the field, Ivor Ellul has authored numerous papers. He has also delivered presentations to his peers, including “The Prediction of Liquid Dropout and Associated Slugging in Offshore Pipeline Gathering Systems” at the 2002 Pipeline Simulation Interest Group annual meeting in Portland, Oregon.
